ConnectIT Software provides financial management software to the construction Industry in both the UK and Ireland, and in particular working with companies for whom management of plant & equipment is a significant source of cost or revenue. We provide state of the art financial management solutions with emphasis on plant and equipment rental, cost, maintenance and asset management applications.

Position
The position, reporting to the management team and development mentors, is to take a pivotal hands on role in the mobilisation of these applications through a process of technology evaluation, application deployment R+D and prototype evaluation before committing to delivery based projects.
Training
Product and Technical Training Program will be provided.
Key Requirements
The ideal applicant will be a motivated self starter with the right combination of practical experience and “can do” outlook.
Experience or the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the issues involved in mobile deployment of application(s) whereby data is value added between back office server applications and mobilised workflow steps.
We use Four Js Genero and IBM Informix database. Genero is a feature rich 360® Cross Platform Development Framework which provides a full Studio IDE to support Rapid Application Development for Server, desktop, Mobile and Report Writing. Genero supports all major relational database engines. Experience of delivering applications using 4GL/RAD tools and RDBMS is a requirement.
An appreciation of the construction industry would be advantageous.
