When Finance Director Keith Addis came on board in 2003, he inherited a mixture of inappropriate software, home grown workarounds and spreadsheets that didn’t communicate with one another. He knew that in order to ready the business for the next stage in its growth, he needed to consolidate and build the business’s back office functions from the ground up. Lyndon Scaffolding needed one integrated solution that captured all the experience, professionalism and industry knowledge from their customer facing and service delivery focused experts distributed through their Birmingham, London, Cardiff, Manchester, Durham and Edinburgh branch network through a common reporting structure that didn’t restrict or compromise what they did best.

“We were impressed with ConnectIT’s industry knowledge and their appetite to combine that with our professional vision. Today ConnectIT’s Scaffold Contractors Accounting system has become a backbone of our business. It provides a world class finance and project costing system fed by operationally correct activities of contract valuations through to credit control and collection, payroll timesheet collection through to on-time & on-line payments, fleet maintenance and management through to MPG reporting and total running costs and of course procurement and stock.”

“We have total visibility of contract performance and the underlying trending that allows us to understand what makes the difference. Quite simply, our business intelligence is readily available and easy to understand, our assets are working harder for us and that can only be a positive thing for our bottom line.”
